Day 1 + (Denver to Passau)

We had an early flight from Denver to Newark. Thanks to Paulette and Duane for the early ride out to the airport. This leg was uneventful. I think it's always good to start your trip with a Stroopwafel!
The Stroopwafel is what kept me going on this flight. I spent most of the flight prepping three classes in Schoology for summers school, 2xChemistry and 1xPhysics. The queue is behind and Campus and Schoology are not playing nice  with each other. Hope this is fixed so students are in their correct classes by Friday am.

Second leg- EWR-MUC, again an uneventful flight. I think we each got a little sleep.

Third leg - a fairly easy bus ride from the Munich Airport to the Freising Train Station. I love that the driver was able to give us change! We had about an hour before our ticket to Passau was valid, so we both had a little caffeine as we waited.

We got to Passau about noon and fortunately are room was available! Short power nap, then a stroll through town. We ended at the Lowen Brauhaus, on the Danube for a beer and some live jazz. Then a little shopping for items needed on the boat, and we're both done. Tomorrow Joe takes over the blogging.
